ASE/CLEP/DSST

Registration and payment for ASE Exams are done online.

Once you are registered and have paid for your ASE Exams:

Call us with the following information:

• Your Name and ASE ID number
• The exam(s) you are taking
• The date you want to take your exam(s) (One week notice is required)

ASE Exam Dates – Please call for a test date.

ASE Testing is held in Canino School of Engineering Technology, Room Nevaldine South 117 (NS 117) or Miiler Campus Center Room 224.

Park in the small Parking Lot just after passing Nevaldine Hall (2nd left).

Registration for CLEP Exams are done online.

The CLEP exam fee is $93.

There is an additional fee of $20 fee per exam payable to SUNY Canton for administrative costs.

Once you have paid for your CLEP Exam, contact our office to sign up to take your exam(s).  Our test dates are usually on Fridays.

• The CLEP Exam you are taking

Registration and payment for DSST Exams are done online on the day of the exam. There is an additional fee of $20 per exam payable to SUNY Canton for administrative costs.

To register for an exam, call Career Services to make an appointment for testing. We do not pre-schedule DSST tests; test times are scheduled as needed and are typically done on Friday.

On the day of the exam, bring with you:

• A current and valid picture identification such as a driver’s license, passport, or picture student identification card. Expired identification is not acceptable. Students may not test without appropriate identification.
• The name of the exam(s) you are taking.
• Administrative fee (Call Career Services for accepted payment methods).
