Position Objectives:
To learn the Windstream Wholesale business and hone skills such as:
- Creation of complex business cases and financial models
- Collaborate with Engineering and back office to understand cost inputs
- Interface with Sales team to understand customer expectations and winning targets
- Collaborate with Product team and learn introductory Product Management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a work queue of ICB pricing requests – Delivering market-based pricing solutions to sales in response to complex customer requests.
- Work with Transport Planning Team to understand customer requirements and price competitively
- Work with sales to address concerns about standard pricing and capture relevant competitive pricing data.
- Comprehensively understand the Windstream Carrier product set, competitive landscape and financial parameters to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives and goals
- Do in depth financial analysis in our pricing model to win deals
Requirements:
- Experience with Financial Modeling – basic knowledge of IRR, ROI and Payback
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and penchant for accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Curious mind and willingness to learn!
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Finance
- 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Available for a Summer Internship starting June 2025
