River Falls School District is seeking an energetic, innovative, and student focused educator to serve as a full time Business Education Teacher at River Falls High School beginning August 17, 2026. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about preparing students for success in business, entrepreneurship, and the modern workforce through engaging, real-world learning experiences.

Preference will be given to candidates who bring additional certifications and who contribute to the school community through coaching, advising, or extracurricular involvement.

A robust and active FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter

Transcripted credit partnerships with Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC), providing students with valuable college credit opportunities

Authentic, hands-on learning experiences such as Wiley’s Common Grounds, our student-run coffee shop located within the high school

A collaborative Career and Technical Education (CTE) Professional Learning Community (PLC) structure that supports curriculum development, shared instructional practices, and continuous improvement

Opportunities for program leadership and growth, including advising student organizations like FBLA and helping shape the future direction of the Business Education program

This is an exceptional opportunity for an educator who wants to be part of a forward-thinking program that emphasizes applied learning, collaboration, leadership, and student engagement.

Qualifications:

Valid Wisconsin Teaching License (or ability to obtain) for grades 9–12 in Business Education (1250) Additional certifications (e.g., Computer Science 1405 or Marketing 1275) are welcomed

We encourage non-traditional educators who hold a four-year degree and bring relevant business or industry experience, and who are willing to pursue appropriate licensure

Required application materials include: 1) WECAN standard application; 2) “Teacher” question set; 3) online cover letter; 4) attachment of the following items to your WECAN application as per instructions on your WECAN main page – resume, two or more letters of reference preferably dated within the last two years, transcripts.

The top candidate will be offered a competitive salary. The position is eligible for a strong benefits package that includes health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance, as well as, paid leave and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The position begins on August 17, 2026.
