Job Title: Cyber Security Administrator Full Time
Location: Potsdam, New York
Salary Range: Commiserate with experience
Position Summary: Ombra is seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Security Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our cybersecurity efforts and protecting the organization’s critical information assets. In this role you will be responsible for developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments and driving security awareness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive our business forward. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize cyber-support activities.
- Manage Defensive Cyber Operations and cyber functions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation; develop policy and user manuals.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new technologies, tools, and techniques, ensuring that the solutions delivered remain cutting-edge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner, collaborating with the support team and customers to ensure seamless user experience.
- Operate within DOD security procedures and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Windows server operating systems and concepts.
- Defensive Cyber Operations and cyber functions skills.
- Risk Management Framework (RMF)-ability to identify, assess and mitigate security risks.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five or more years’ experience in information or cyber security.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems/computer science or related field from an accredited university.
- Experience supporting a DOD customer.
- Security Clearance Certification
